About Karla

My path to becoming a doula began with the birth of my first child. It was a beautiful experience, one that unfolded just as I had hoped and planned. Many called me lucky, but I knew that luck was only a small part of it. Preparation played a pivotal role. Despite the unpredictability of childbirth, I firmly believe that a positive experience begins with thorough preparation.

As I shared my story, I realized my passion for childbirth extended beyond my experience. I wanted to empower others on their journey and help them prepare physically, mentally, and emotionally. This realization was the seed that grew into my doula career.

.

.

With dedication and a deep-seated desire to support expectant and new parents, I pursued official certification as a doula. My approach is holistic, recognizing that wellness transcends medical care and encompasses the entire human experience during pregnancy and postpartum. This is why my packages go beyond prenatal or postnatal visits; they are week-to-week preparation and support designed to offer continuum support

My background in Health Science allows me to blend compassionate, nurturing support with evidence-based practices. I consider all aspects of well-being — mental, physical, and social — to provide care that respects and responds to your unique needs.
